TSA7000 uses the SCAIP protocol which is the de-facto standard for emergency calls in the Scandinavian countries. By sending alarm codes as data with SCAIP, alarming is provided faster and more secure.
Thus, SCAIP replaces the traditional in-band DTMF signaling.
