Seamless update of TETRA terminal via Motorola’s Integrated Terminal Management (iTM)
For digital radios, almost everything is controlled by software – a software that constantly is evolving. New features and connections as well as changes in networks, talk groups, audio and the like require software updates and re-programming of terminals. Instead of sending these forth and back for service, Motorola iTM eases this task by remote programming of the TETRA terminals.
By connecting to the charger via IP, programming files can be sent from a central programming station directly to the radios on site whereby the latest firmware is installed. Thus, distribution of changes and nye features for the terminals is solved swift and seamless via the iTM solution.
